This literally brought tears to my eyes — the racism in Spira is sometimes almost throwaway, a second thought to the end of the Sending. This is so fabulous that my heart hurts. Wakka's a touch too formal and laying the language out in its real counterpart threw me out, but to even say that almost makes me feel like I'm looking for things to pick apart because no one should be this amazing all the time. It's unnatural and I am going to end up completely spoiled.(Rikku/Wakka)

Ah, I'm coming off of playing X-2 and it's lovely to come back to this pet pairing of FFX canon and remember how much I absolutely love it. This is a little AU fic but it still rings true to canon. I love how smart they're both presented here (mechanics! kissing!). This really made me happy. ♥ (Rikku/Wakka)

Yes yes yes yes yes! This is so what I love about this couple. A little tentative, a lot of misses with feelings and emotions. Wakka's descriptions of Rikku are spot on and Wakka isn't made to me stupid here, which I am so thankful for, because so much fic I read off LJ makes him out to be a complete blockhead and he's not at all and here's proof that he has depth, because here he has spades. I like how he doesn't immediately think Rikku was searching him out on her own and Rikku's lecture on how Wakka would be feeling, having just obliterated his religion but still happy because Yuna was alive and wow, I squealed at the end of this, squealed, like a girly fangirl. I think the only thing that took me out of the story was the spelling out of the accent, in like one spot, and it's not enough to make me think this piece was any less awesome. ♥ (Rikku/Wakka)

She's going to be a regular feature because I can usually always bribe her into writing me hot Rikku/Wakka action, or fluff, or angst, or anything, really, and there's a 165% chance I'll love whatever she posts to pieces and rec it seven ways to Sunday because I think this pairing needs more love. I think it's the language in these stories, the little quips and jokes Wakka makes in his head, thoughts on Yevon, his reaction to Rikku, his desire for her, all wrapped up in thoughts of proper and correct.
