Giving away the characters in this ficbit takes away from the overall combination of awesome that it contains. Yesterday I made a post about people stealing Greek myths and applying them badly to fictional realities! This is the exact opposite of stories that do that, which is to say—I'd go for snacks here voluntarily. Mem does world-building good in 500 words or less and I am so jealous. :D (385 words)
